SafeSport Welcomes New Members to the Board of Directors
The U.S. Center for SafeSport (the Center) today announced the election of new board members, representing leaders in sports, health, and business. The Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is governed by a board of directors that advises the Center on core business functions, long-term sustainability, strategic planning, and regularly evaluates the Center’s performance through its outcomes and metrics. The board also approves the annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions, ensuring all legal and fiduciary requirements are met.
2025 Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies Take Effect Across the Olympic and Paralympic Movement
The U.S. Center for SafeSport (the Center) announced that the 2025 Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) are in effect as of January 1, 2025. The MAAPP is a landmark set of rules developed by the Center to protect young athletes from abuse and misconduct.
SafeSport Launches New Mobile App for Athlete Safety

The app is designed to help parents and others with a stake in safety better understand abuse in sport and how to address it.
