U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones gaining 0.25% on Monday. The Dow traded up 0.25% to 34,596.04 while the NASDAQ rose 0.92% to 14,243.64. The S&P 500, also rose, gaining, 0.43% to 4,524.74.

The CNN Money Fear and Greed index remained in the "Extreme Greed" zone on Friday. The Dow Jones recorded gains for the fifth straight session on Friday following strong earnings from some of the major banks. On a weekly basis, the Dow recorded its best performance since March, gaining 2.3%, while the S&P 500 gained 2.4%.
